Location:  Robbinsville, NJ
 
Job Description:  
Seeking a licensed Professional Engineer with 15+ years’ experience in site engineering, stormwater management, utilities, wastewater, land use and/or municipal representation. Experience necessary in the preparation of construction bid documents, construction inspection and land use permitting in the mid-Atlantic region. Coastal permitting and engineering a plus.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Project design, and management, of civil engineering projects, budgets, timelines, and staff
  • Maintains relationships with management, team members, and important clients and subcontractors
  • Coordinates new critical project partners and helps foster relationships between management and those new business prospects
  • Makes resource allocation and staffing decisions
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Plans and coordinates the work of engineering staff
  • Oversees engineering staff and ensures that they meet goals and objectives.
  • Recruits additional engineering staff as needed
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
  • Provides training and mentoring as needed
 
Qualifications (Education and Experience):
  • Professional Engineering License (NJ minimum, PA and other states desired)
  • Public Meetings experience (testimony and stakeholder)
  • Coastal Resiliency Design experience a plus
  • Coastal permitting experience a plus
  • Municipality experience a plus
  • Certified Municipal Engineer (CME) a plus
  • Must be organized, motivated, and reliable
  • Must be willing to work overtime on a limited basis to meet client needs
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to obtain government clearance
  • Must be able to pass drug and alcohol tests
