Job Description:
Seeking a licensed Professional Engineer with 15+ years’ experience in site engineering, stormwater management, utilities, wastewater, land use and/or municipal representation. Experience necessary in the preparation of construction bid documents, construction inspection and land use permitting in the mid-Atlantic region. Coastal permitting and engineering a plus.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Project design, and management, of civil engineering projects, budgets, timelines, and staff
- Maintains relationships with management, team members, and important clients and subcontractors
- Coordinates new critical project partners and helps foster relationships between management and those new business prospects
- Makes resource allocation and staffing decisions
- Plans and coordinates the work of engineering staff
- Oversees engineering staff and ensures that they meet goals and objectives.
- Recruits additional engineering staff as needed
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
- Provides training and mentoring as needed
Qualifications (Education and Experience):
- Professional Engineering License (NJ minimum, PA and other states desired)
- Public Meetings experience (testimony and stakeholder)
- Coastal Resiliency Design experience a plus
- Coastal permitting experience a plus
- Municipality experience a plus
- Certified Municipal Engineer (CME) a plus
- Must be organized, motivated, and reliable
- Must be willing to work overtime on a limited basis to meet client needs
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to obtain government clearance
- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol tests
