Description

This signature fundraising event will honor prominent community members for their support and service to many non-profits over their years in Cape May including the Cape May Point Art and Science Center. Highlights of the event will include live music by Geno White and Jim Hannah, drinks, hors d’oeuvres and live auction items featuring unique Cape May experiences. With a ticket to the Gala you can expect:

• A Community Award presentation to Dr. Joe and Annie Salvatore, founders of Historic Cold Spring Village and Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum.
• Live Music by Local Musicians: Geno White on guitar, Jim Hannah on drums, and Andy Lalasis on bass - performing together for the very first time.
• Exclusive da Vinci Gala Art Auction: Original works by talented local artists, hosted by Seagrove Art Cooperative.
• Live Auction: Offering an array of unique experiences, captained by Yogi Kurtz.
• The Annual Gala Butterfly Release: A beautiful moment that has become one of the Gala’s signature traditions, overseen by Estela Romero Vázquez who co-starred in our documentary, “Monarchs: Generation Treasures.” Vázquez is traveling in from Mexico to attend our Gala.
• A visit from a 5’ Bronze Sculpture of Harriet Tubman: Perfectly positioned for photographs in our colorful pollinator garden. Sculptor Wesley Wofford and Odyssey Wofford of Wofford Sculpture Studios will travel from North Carolina to attend the Gala.
