Proceed south on the Garden State Parkway to its end (milepost 0). Continue over the bridge, driving straight to the city center. When the road ends at Jackson Street, turn left. The Carroll Villa Hotel and Mad Batter Restaurant are located on the left side of the street, a half block from the ocean.

The Mad Batter Restaurant, located in the Carroll Villa Hotel on Cape May's historic Jackson Street, is the recipient of many critically acclaimed awards and is considered the granddaddy of Cape May's many fine restaurants.
Start the morning with our award-winning breakfasts and come back for lunch and dinner! Dine on our front porch in-season, in our skylit dining room, or in our garden terrace. We are open year-round.
Browse through our art exhibits or join us for live music, including ''Open Mic'' night and Jazz at the Batter with friends of Cape May Jazz. Enjoy half-priced drinks at Happy Hour daily from 4 to 6 p.m. Our bistro menu is also available.
